Congratulations on your abstract’s acceptance to the AIHE International Research Conference. Please read the guidelines below carefully before preparing and submitting your full paper.

All accepted full papers will be published in the AIHE 2026 Conference Proceedings, an ISBN-registered digital volume made available online following the conference.

Authors must submit their full paper in Microsoft Word format by the deadline. PDF submissions will not be accepted.

Double-Blind Review

What This Means for Your Submission

Full papers are reviewed double-blind. Reviewers must not be able to identify the author or authors, and authors will not be told who reviewed their paper.

1. Anonymised Manuscript

Submit your full paper with all identifying information removed. This is the file reviewers will see.

  • Do not include author names, affiliations or contact details.
  • Remove acknowledgements and funding statements.
  • Anonymise self-citations using third-person language.
  • Remove identifying details from Word document properties.

2. Cover Sheet

Submit a separate cover sheet with the paper title, author name or names, affiliations and corresponding author email.

  • The cover sheet is for committee records only.
  • It will not be sent to reviewers.
  • Use the cover sheet format provided in the guideline document.
  • Submit it as a separate Microsoft Word file.
File Naming

Double-Blind File Naming Convention

Use the Required File Name Format

Please do not include your name in the file name. Use the following naming convention:

AIHE_RC26_FP_[Abstract ID].docx

Example: AIHE_RC26_FP_AIHE-RC26-0142.docx

Your Abstract ID was provided in your acceptance notification. Please contact the committee if you no longer have it.

  • Paper size: A4
  • Margins: 2.54 cm, or 1 inch, on all sides
  • Font: Arial throughout
  • Page numbers: bottom centre

Text Formatting

  • Body text: 11pt, 1.5 line spacing, justified
  • Headings: Arial Bold
  • Section headings: 12pt
  • Sub-headings: 11pt
  • References list: 11pt, single line spacing
Paper Structure

How to Structure Your Full Paper

Your paper should generally follow the structure below. Papers from disciplines with different conventions may adapt section headings, provided the overall logic remains clear to reviewers.

Title

Centred, bold, 14pt. Do not include author names on this page.

Abstract and Keywords

Include a 250–300 word abstract and up to five keywords separated by commas.

Main Paper Sections

Include Introduction, Literature Review or Theoretical Framework, Methodology, Findings or Results, Discussion and Conclusion.

References

Provide a full reference list using APA 7th edition for both in-text citations and the reference list.

Tables and Figures

  • Number tables and figures sequentially, such as Table 1 and Figure 1.
  • Refer to each table and figure in the text.
  • Captions appear above tables and below figures.
  • Use Arial 10pt for captions.
  • Ensure all tables and figures are legible in black and white.

Peer Review Criteria

Full papers are assessed by international subject matter experts using a dedicated Full Paper Peer Review Form.

  • Originality and contribution
  • Methodological rigour
  • Clarity of argument
  • Relevance to the conference themes
  • Quality of writing and referencing

Publication and Recognition

Accepted full papers will be published in the AIHE 2026 Conference Proceedings, an ISBN-registered digital volume made available online following the conference.

Best Paper Awards will be presented in two categories: Theoretical Contribution and Early Career Researcher.

Presentation Format

  • Presentations may be delivered onsite in Melbourne or online.
  • Each paper receives a 10-minute presentation plus 10-minute Q&A.
  • Onsite presentations are delivered in a single shared, collegial room.

Please review each item before submitting your anonymised manuscript and cover sheet.

  • Manuscript is 8,000 words, ±10%, including references.
  • No author names, affiliations or contact details appear in the manuscript.
  • Acknowledgements and funding statements have been removed from this version.
  • Self-citations have been anonymised in third person.
  • Document properties have been checked and personal information removed.
  • File is named using the double-blind convention: AIHE_RC26_FP_[Abstract ID].docx.
  • A4 page size, 2.54 cm margins and Arial font are used throughout.
  • References follow APA 7th edition.
  • Tables and figures are numbered, captioned and legible in black and white.
  • Cover sheet is completed separately and ready to submit alongside the manuscript.
  • Paper is original and not under review or published elsewhere.

Complete the cover sheet and save it as a separate document from your anonymised manuscript. This is for the committee’s records only and will not be shared with reviewers.

Paper title Enter the full title of your paper.
Abstract ID Use the Abstract ID provided in your acceptance notification.
Author 1 — name and affiliation Provide full name and institutional affiliation.
Author 2 — name and affiliation Add additional authors where applicable.
Corresponding author email Provide the main contact email address.
Word count Provide word count excluding references.

Declarations

  • I/We declare that this paper is original and is not under review or published elsewhere at the time of submission.
  • I/We confirm the accompanying manuscript file has been fully anonymised in line with the guidelines above.
